Custom pouches and bags for your brand's packaging

Custom pouches and bags for your brand's packaging

Custom pouches are packaging made of paper, fabric or technical plastic, printed with your brand’s logo and graphics, used to protect, ship and present a product. These are not stationery envelopes: here we mean packaging — product pouches, mailing bags for shipping and e-commerce, covers for garments and accessories. Redmark makes them to measure in different materials and with different closures, personalised with your brand.

If you are looking for custom pouches or bags for e-commerce, to protect accessories and garments, or for coordinated packaging, the choice depends on three factors: the material, the type of closure and the end use. Below you will find every type Redmark makes, a comparison table and the most frequent questions.

What are custom pouches

A custom pouch, in packaging, is a wrapper that contains and protects a product while displaying the seller’s brand. Depending on the material and the closure it can be used to ship (mailer), to protect a garment or an accessory, to store delicate components or to wrap a gift. The term is often used as a synonym for “custom bag” or “pouch”.

It is a discreet but effective packaging element: it travels with the product and, when personalised with care, makes the experience more recognisable and consistent with the brand.

Redmark pouch types and closures

Redmark makes six families of pouches, all with a customisable format and personalised with the logo.

Paper bags (FSC®)

In paper of various weights, with the option of FSC® certification. They are the most natural and elegant choice, suited to products, packaging and retail use. Customisable inside and out.

Drawstring pouches

In fabric (cotton, satin, nylon, TNT, Tyvek, organza, mesh), with a single or double drawstring closure and cords or ribbons in recycled polyester, cotton, satin or grosgrain. Ideal for accessories, footwear and garments, with a soft, premium effect.

Flap-closure pouches

In the same fabrics as the drawstring pouches, with a flap closure and cords or ribbons. A tidy, elegant solution to protect and present the product.

Zip pouches

With a customisable format and construction, in EVA or PVC (transparent, semi-transparent, coloured or metallised), or in Tyvek, TNT and fabric. The zip makes them reclosable and reusable, suited to accessories and products to display.

Minigrip (grip-seal) pouches

In EVA or PVC (transparent, semi-transparent, coloured or metallised), customisable inside and out. The grip-seal closure is practical and secure, ideal for small items, components and spare parts.

Antistatic bags

In a flat or gusseted format, with a transparent or metallised finish and customisable with printing. Designed to protect components and products sensitive to electrostatic charges.

How to choose the right pouch

Beyond the material, use matters. For shipping and e-commerce you need strong pouches and a cared-for image: paper or zip pouches with the logo improve the unboxing experience. For protecting garments and accessories, the fabric drawstring or flap versions combine protection and elegance. For components and sensitive products, antistatic and minigrip pouches offer a secure closure and technical protection. For packaging and gifts, paper, satin and organza add a touch of refinement.

Customisation and printing

All Redmark pouches are customisable with the brand’s logo and graphics. Depending on the material you can customise inside and out, choose colours and finishes (transparent, semi-transparent, metallised for EVA and PVC) and apply printing. The choice of technique depends on the material and the desired effect.

Sustainable pouches: FSC® paper and reusable materials

Sustainability starts with the choice of material. Paper and cardboard pouches are available with FSC® certification, which attests to responsibly managed forests, and are recyclable. The fabric versions (cotton in particular) are reusable and long-lasting, reducing waste compared with single-use wrapping.

Minimum quantities, lead times and production

Minimum quantities depend on material and finishing. Redmark also works on small runs, useful for brands that want well-made packaging without ordering large volumes, as well as on higher quantities. Lead times vary with customisation, finishes and quantity: for an accurate estimate, the best route is a request with the project specifications.

Pouches as part of coordinated packaging

Pouches perform best as part of a consistent system. Coordinating them with dust bags, shopping bags, boxes, garment bags and labels of the same brand creates a recognisable experience, from the product to shipping. This is the advantage of a single manufacturer: materials, colours and finishes aligned across every element. → See also: Dust bags · Shopping bags · Boxes · Garment bags · Labelling (link to the corresponding EN pages)

Why choose Redmark

Redmark is an Italian company producing packaging and accessories for fashion and retail, based in Carpi (MO), in the Italian textile and fashion district, active since 2001 with an approach that combines design, research and production. It designs and makes pouches, dust bags, shopping bags, boxes and labels to measure, following the brand from material selection to finishing: quality, consistency across packaging elements and customisation an off-the-shelf catalogue cannot offer.
