Redmark, a company of labels and tags for high fashion and clothing based in Carpi, after having obtained the FSC® Forest Stewardship Council® certification a few months ago, hangs another thick certificate on the notice board: the GRS, Global Recycle Standard, promoted by Textile Exchange, one of the most important companies for the promotion of responsible and sustainable development in the textile sector.
How did Redmark, which designs tailor-made yarn tags recovered from discarded material, patches with recycled material and labels in vegetable leather woven and customized , obtain the GRS certification? Products that are made from 20% to 100% recycled cotton, recycled wool, recycled polyester and leather, recycled polyamide in compliance with environmental and social criteria along their entire production chain can be certified.
So with Redmark GRS certified products, which has always been attentive to sustainability and the production of environmentally friendly tags for clothing and labels made in Italy, it is possible to trace the recycled materials, providing customers with a safe product, reducing the impact of production, while ensuring that the finished materials of the labels for haute couture are effectively recycled and processed in a sustainable way and, finally, confirming innovation in the research of increasingly sustainable quality materials.
